The CFO (Chief Financial Officer) Community manages Covestro’s financial processes, legal services and IT solutions to the company as a whole. The Covestro Direct Store is provided as a digital sales channel through Asellion B.V. located in Amsterdam, a 100% subsidiary of Covestro

Responsibilities:

  • You will develop advanced data-driven solutions and will lead major analytics projects using advanced methodologies; you will enable the analytics function by ensuring the availability of relevant and high-quality data and an efficient analytics tool stack
  • You will create, maintain, monitor and debug ETL pipelines and design as well as maintain the data infrastructure in coordination with the technical architect
  • Maintaining a clear data sequence and monitoring and ensuring high data quality will continue to be part of your responsibilities
  • You will also create data solutions to transform data into actionable insights while integrating new data sources
  • You will be responsible for building fully transparent marketing funnels and reports, as well as statistical analysis to identify behavioral trends
  • Finally, your new challenge will include aligning with data infrastructure priorities and effectively building the data infrastructure for marketing and sales

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • You have a university degree in computer science or a comparable education
  • You have solid experience in similar functions
  • Furthermore, you have proven experience in agile projects and development approaches (SCRUM)
  • Knowledge of Python, R, SQL, or another scripting language is a requirement
  • In addition, you have experience with relational databases and with the development of dashboards, e.g. in Tableau
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken, rounds out your profile
